Men may be the strong hunter-gathers who hold all the power in society, but if things go wrong in the bedroom, they lose all respect and become weaker than women. Think Aristophanes and “Lysistrata” in the theater of Ancient Greece, Chaucer and “The Miller’s Tale” in early England, and all the other plays and stories mocking men who, for one reason or another, cannot have sex. This theme represents the one consistent cultural truth. Society has accepted men as the dominant gender and wrapped up all the symbolism of sexual power in the right to govern. So, throughout time, men whose sexual performance has been less than stellar have been devising strategies to hide their problems. Not for them the honesty and openness of failure. Everything must be hidden away. So it was that we came to the end of the last century and a revolutionary event. The release of the little blue pill on to the market suddenly offered a way of recovering lost power. All that was required was sufficient honesty to ask a doctor for a prescription. Since this admission took place behind the locked doors of doctor-patient confidentiality, men in their millions begged for relief. Fortunately, the pills delivered. More importantly, the pills are easily hidden. One pill some thirty minutes before sexual activity is expected protects everyone’s reputation. So one quick unobtrusive swallow does a summer make.

In fact, the manufacturers and medical profession were taken by surprise at the number of men who asked for relief. The problem for so long hidden away proved to be far greater than anyone had guessed. For the manufacturer, this was the opening day for the gold mine. For men, it was the opening day of the rest of their active sexual lives. Researchers came rushing forward to start a host of new projects to investigate the causes of erectile dysfunction now that most men affected were prepared to talk about their problems. For two or three years, this new climate of honesty continued but then, to everyone’s surprise, the number of prescriptions stabilised and, in some countries, began to fall. The online pharmacies were establishing their credibility and offering a completely confidential delivery service without the need for a prescription. Now men could sit in their own homes and place an order with their privacy guaranteed. The problem went back underground and researchers found it difficult to recruit men for their latest projects.

There is good and bad in this. Viagra has proved itself a remarkably effective drug. In almost every case, this drug works the first and then every time to produce an erection when needed. For that, millions of men around the world are grateful. But for medical research, an opportunity has been lost. In the years immediately after viagra appeared, we learned so much more about the extent of the problem and its causes. Many changes have been made to the training of doctors and to the range of treatments available as a result. But with an increasing number of men buying the drug without seeking medical advice, the chance for collecting more information is reducing. If the trend continues, we will be back to the days of plausible deniability.

There has been a growing phenomenon around the developed world. The birth rate has been falling quite steeply and, in some countries, the average is only marginally above one child per woman. This is not enough to maintain the population in balance. Over time, societies will age and there will not be enough young to pay the taxes to fund healthcare. This change is a direct result of a major cultural shift. Our lifestyles now delay parenthood or postpone it altogether. Ignoring the long-term social risks, there is a more immediate problem. Such medical evidence as there is suggests the problem of erectile dysfunction is growing more common. The reason for this is the redefinition of what it means to be a biological man and woman. Go back fifty years and you find yourself in a time warp that has lasted thousands of years. Men go out to work and the women stay home and have babies. Originally, this was men go out to hunt leaving women to clean the cave. But the spirit of the gender roles has remained consistent over the centuries. But all that changed as the 1950′s turned into the 1960′s. A revolution was coming.

Today, we all understand the force of the words, “feminism”, “gender equality” and “sexual discrimination”. The men running government fifty years ago had no idea what was coming. Now, the cultural dominance enjoyed by men over the centuries is under threat from more confident women. They no longer see their roles as baby factories and homemakers. They demand equality and make career choices that delay child-bearing until later in life. This adds to the stress of modern living. Now consider two other factors. Men are becoming increasingly overweight. This has a direct effect on sexual performance as high cholesterol blocks the arteries and unfitness reduces the stamina for sexual activity. Further, sexual performance slowly weakens over time. If men are expected to wait longer before producing children, the pressure on performance increases and anxiety can induce erectile dysfunction.

It is going to take time for men to adjust to this new cultural landscape in which women are more assertive in all aspects of life. When it was always up to the man to make the running, everything could go at his pace and match his comfort levels. A woman demanding more immediate sexual satisfaction is disconcerting to the older man. The new generation of men who grow up in this new reality will be better attuned to its demands. This leaves viagra as the standard support for aging men. When performance comes under pressure and the fear of inadequacy saps confidence, this drug preserves self-esteem and enables a hard erection in reply to sexual stimulation. It is fortunate this drug came on the market when it did. Feminism was strongest during the 1970′s and early 1980′s and then there was a slight plateau. Viagra has appeared just as the drive for greater equality has resumed with new force. So long as women persist in their drive to delay conception, the birth rate will continue to fall and society will grow older. But men will be better able to rise to the occasion when women do finally decide the time is right to conceive. Thanks to the little blue pill, humanity will continue.

The pace at which medical science can advance is dictated by a number of cultural factors. In the case of erectile dysfunction, all research was extremely difficult because very few men were prepared to admit to sexual difficulties, let alone allow researchers to prod them around. Thus, until the late 1990′s and the launch of the now famous little blue pills, most research was limited to the brave few who had the will and the money to try for an effective cure for their problems. Unfortunately, there were few options for them to explore. There were uncomfortable injections and vacuum pumps. People talked about experiments with male hormones, but nothing really came of that. It was only when the cultural revolution occurred and men ran to their doctors for prescriptions, that researchers could begin to get a better count on the number of men affected. The pills, of course, were an effective treatment for almost everyone. This further weakened the perceived need for research. With quick and convenient pills available, what more work needed to be done?

For a year or so, most general research into erectile dysfunction slowed but, as the full extent of the problem was recognized, another range of links could be made. The US has been collecting data on the health of the general population for many years. This is done by putting together medical records from doctors, clinics and hospitals. But, by its nature, it can only track the problems and diseases people admit to having. When several million men suddenly admitted to erectile dysfunction, a piece of the puzzle fell into place. The most common cause of erectile dysfunction is a physical breakdown in the control of the smooth muscle wall in the artery leading into the penis. Because this artery is smaller than most other arteries in the male body, it is the first to be affected by a build-up of plaque. In time, this can lead to arteriosclerosis and cardiovascular disease. With the new evidence in place, it became obvious that men reporting erectile dysfunction were significantly more likely to experience heart problems four to five years later.

Now, when you go into see your doctor about a treatment for erectile dysfunction, you will be treated as a potential heart patient. Although it may seem an overreaction, you will be tested in a number of different ways and, if you seem predisposed to heart disease, preventative treatment will begin immediately. We now have almost eleven years of evidence to show that several million men who would otherwise have died from heart disease are still walking around today. So let’s be direct about this. You could go online and buy cialis without a prescription. This is the best of the drugs to treat erectile dysfunction, allowing sexual responsiveness for a far longer time than any of the other drugs on the market. This may be good for you in avoiding the embarrassment of admitting your problem to your doctor. But it may be very bad for you if you deny yourself the tests that could save your life. Cialis is a great drug for dealing with erectile dysfunction. Do not deny yourself access to the other drugs that could save your life from heart disease.

Condoms provide good protection against sexually transmitted diseases and pregnancy. Condoms are affordable, readily available, and easy to use.  Putting on a condom requires no specialized skill and no prescriptions, or doctors visits are needed in order to get them.

With proper condom use pregnancy prevention can be achieved with a success rate of over 98%. Proper condom use can prevent sexually transmitted diseases with rates ranging from 70% for diseases such as genital warts (human papilloma virus) up to 85% for HIV.

But what is proper condom use?   Proper use means that you apply the best evidence there is about how to safely store, apply, and dispose of the condom.  And you do it 100% of the time in all of your sexual encounters.

Here are some tips for proper condom use:

Use only latex condoms, they provide the best protection and are the most resistance to breakage or tearing.  Although quite hardy the latex rubber condom is not immune to damage. Temperature extremes will cause the latex in the condom to break down so your condoms should be stored safely.  Keeping your condoms in your wallet will expose them to heat and over the long term the latex will deteriorate.  By all means prepare yourself by packing a few condoms if you are anticipating sexual activity, but do not store a condom there just in case as the quality of the latex rubber will degrade over time. Do not use expired product – Condoms have a specific lifetime after which the product cannot be guaranteed to be of high quality so check the expiry date on the package and do not use product  whose expiry date has passed. When putting on a condom take care when opening the package and do not use your teeth.  You might just inadvertently pierce the condom. When putting on a condom you can do it yourself or have your partner do it.  Place the condom at the tip of the erect penis and squeeze out the air from the “nipple” at the end.  Then use your other hand to unroll the condom over the penis. Make sure you unroll the condom all the way down to the base of the penis. Make sure the condom is applied well in advance of penetration and always before any sexual touching or oral contact. Use only water soluble lubricants – Most condoms come pre-lubricated but if more lubrication is necessary do not use ordinary petroleum jelly (Vaseline) or oil of any kind.  Latex condoms will deteriorate if exposed to oil or petroleum products. Never lubricate your penis before putting on a condom.  If you want to apply the lubricant to the penis do it only after the condom is already on. Removal – If  you had penetrating sex make sure that you hold the base of the condom firmly against the penis when withdrawing.   Remove carefully from the penis to avoid spilling semen, knot the end of the condom and discard it. Wash your hands immediately. Never reuse a condom.  If you are energetic enough to have sex again in repeated intervals then use a new condom every time.

Safe Condom Disposal

Wrap the used condom in toilet paper and dispose of it in the garbage.  Latex rubber is not a good product to be flushing down the toilet. Condoms are used in all parts of the world and can have a significant impact on the environment.  Environmentalists have reported that condoms in the sewage system  find their way into the ocean where they get caught on coral reefs and smother ocean plant life.

Use your condom sense in protecting yourself from sexually transmitted diseases and unplanned pregnancy.  Just remember that in order to achieve the prevention rates listed at the beginning of this article you must engage in proper condom use 100% of the time.

Kamagra Tablets and Jellies are a cheap, effective treatment for Male Erectile Dysfunction (E.D).  Kamagra is generic Sildenafil Citrate and is produced by company Ajanta Pharma. Kamagra tablets and jelly contain the same ingredients and perform in a similar way to its more expensive counterpart Viagra produced by Plizer.  It takes approximately 45 minutes for Kamagra tablets and jellies to start working and is effective for 4-6 hours.

INFORMATION ABOUT KAMAGRA:

Two chemicals are produced by the male body whilst sexually aroused, Cyclic GMP which causes the muscles in the arterial wall of the penis to relax allowing blood to flow in and phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE-5) which decreases erections.  Kamagra contains an ingredient called Sildenafil. Sildenafil is a PDE-5 inhibitor.  Whilst active Kamagra causes a vigorous build up of Cyclic GMP causing the penis to stay erect.  It must be noted that sexual simulation is required in order for Kamagra to become effective.  It is recommended that no more than one 100mg tablet is taken in any 24 hr period.

POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS OF KAMAGRA:

Under normal circumstances, side effects are mild and can include upset stomach, headache and facial flushing.  Other possible, less common side effects are sensitivity to light and a bluish / blurred vision.  If experiencing chest pains, nausea or dizziness during sex, seek immediate medical advice.

PRECAUTIONS BEFORE TAKING KAMAGRA:

Kamagra must be used under a doctors supervision.  It is strongly recommended that you seek medical advice (all instances) to establish if your heart is healthy enough for sexual activity.  Most importantly kamagra should never be taken if you take any medicines that contain nitrates.  Nitrates are commonly contained in drugs for the treatment of Angina.  Examples of these are Nitroglycerin, Isosorbide Mononitrate and Isosorbide Dinitrate.  Nitrates can also be found in recreational drugs such as Amyl Nitrate (known as Poppers).  If you are unsure what nitrates are or need to establish if any medicines you are taking contain nitrates consult your doctor.  Taking Kamagra with any medication containing nitrates can cause blood pressure to drop to an unsafe level.  Possible effects can be dizziness, heart attack or stroke. If you have ever suffered from any of the following conditions inform your doctor before taking Kamagra:

•    Kidney / Liver Problems

•    Heart Conditions (e.g. Irregular Heart Beat, Chest Pain, Heart Attack, Angina or Narrowing of the Aortic Valve)

Your doctor can then inform you if it is safe to take Kamagra tablets, and if so, the appropriate dose.  All Kamagra tablets sold on this site are 100mg.  Smaller doses can be achieved by splitting the pills. For example, if you are over the age of 65 or have had liver /kidney problems, the appropriate dose may be 25mg.  Also if you are taking alpha blockers no more than 25 mg of Kamagra should be taken within 4 hours of your alpha blocker dose.  Under no circumstances should Kamagra be taken more than once a day.  Kamagra should not be taken by women or by children under the age of 18.

Kamagra is administered in three strengths

• 25 mg
